How it works

EZ P2P makes a direct connection between devices for file transfers and chat—no central storage.

1
Discover peers

On LAN, devices announce themselves. Remotely, share your room name with a friend.

2
Connect securely

Devices connect directly. Transfers stream peer‑to‑peer for speed and privacy.

3
Send anything

Drag & drop files or folders. Keep chatting while transfers run.

Download

Save the HTML file and open it in Chrome or Edge.

By downloading this file you agree to our Terms of Service.
* This will make your IP easily visible to the device you connect to. Be careful who you connect to.
Heads‑up

This build uses WebRTC in your browser. Use the manual connect flow in the directions below.

Directions

Follow these steps for the browser build (manual connect). These match the labels in your screenshot. We removed the rename step as you asked.

Browser quick start (manual connect)

  1. Download EZ‑P2P.html and open it in a Chromium‑based browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge recommended).
  2. On Device A, click Create Offer in Peer slot 1. Copy the long string that appears.
  3. Send that string to Device B (the device you want to connect to).
  4. On Device B, paste the string into Peer SDP in peer slot 1 and click Create Answer.
  5. Copy the new string that shows up in Your SDP on Device B and send it back to Device A.
  6. On Device A, paste that string into Peer SDP and click Add Answer.
  7. All set! Use chat and start sending files. When the peer clicks Download, they receive the raw file (no compression/processing).

Tips

  • If devices don’t connect, double‑check you’re on Chrome or Edge. Opera GX is known not to work with this build.
  • Connect only with people you trust. Be careful who you share connection strings with.
  • You can connect up to four devices at once and use the built‑in chat to coordinate transfers.
